Immunization Clinic
Vaccination constitutes one of the best means of protecting children against several dangerous illnesses. Vaccines help in strengthening and building up the immune system, thus shielding children from potential illness.
In Canada, immunization prevent diseases such as human papilloma virus(HPV), meningococcal diseases and pneumococcal diseases, chickenpox, rubella, mumps, measles, hepatitis B, rotavirus, haemophilus influenza type B (Hib), polio, whooping cough (pertussis), tetanus, and diphtheria.
Additionally, influenza (flu) vaccine is annually recommended for children above 6 months of age.
At all our Pediatric Urgent Care facilities, routine immunization of children commences at 8 weeks of age.
Our pediatricians at the Pediatric Urgent Care clinics in Oakville, Toronto and Mississauga understand the concerns and queries of parents on the immunization of their children and are here to help answer any questions and provide quality immunization services to protect your children. Children should be administered with all the required vaccines.
